Awards
The chapter annual awards program begins with nominations in March and ends with an awards banquet in June.

The Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, June 10, at the Museum of Flight.
Award Nominations
Every spring the chapter Awards Committee solicits nominations for the annual awards program. Several awards are available. Download a nomination form (PDF).

DONALD E. PAINE AWARD (Chapter Certificate of Appreciation)
Bestowed on an individual who has rendered distinguished service to the Chapter in the advancement of its objectives or its administration. Nominees must be proposed in writing by three letters of recommendation.
DAVID E. THOMAS AWARD (Product Representative of the Year)
Awarded to a product representative for accessibility and reliability, honest and fair product representation; willingness to render appropriate assistance in incorporation of the product(s); currency in awareness of applicable jurisdictional requirements, environmental impacts, durability, and options; dissemination of product-related knowledge; and efforts which effectively enhance the end result. Note: In 2007 this award was changed from Industry Member of the Year to Product Representative of the Year.
CHAPTER TECHNICAL CITATION
Awarded to an individual who has rendered distinguished service to the Chapter in the advancement of its technical research program, or has shown outstanding accomplishments in the field of technical research or education.
CHAPTER COOPERATION AWARD
Awarded to a trade association, trade union, contractor association, professional association or individual firm for exceptional liaison work with the Chapter.
CHAPTER CRAFTSMANSHIP AWARD
Awarded to an individual or firm for superior craftsmanship in the construction industry within the Chapter’s region.
JOHN D. FINNEGAN AWARD (Chapter Specification Proficiency Award)
Awarded to the professional member attaining outstanding stature as a practicing specification writer. Specification will be judged on the basis of clarity, consistency, functionality and adherence to Manual of Practice guidelines. Applicant must submit a spec. to the Technical Documents Committee for judging.
