Evening Dinner Program, 6:00-8:00 PM, $35.00 City of Seattle Programs for Measuring and Reducing Your Carbon Footprint

Our speaker, Charlie Cunniff, Director of the Seattle Climate Partnership (SCP) for the City of Seattle, Office of Sustainability & Environment will present the city's two programs that are voluntary for Seattle area individuals, businesses, organizations and institutions to measure and reduce their carbon footprint. The two programs are:

  1. Climate Action NOW (CAN) provides tools and resources to educate, inspire and enable Seattle residents to reduce their carbon footprint.
  2. The Seattle Climate Partnership program offers businesses and organizations opportunities to lead the community toward the complementary goals of reduced greenhouse gas emissions and increased economic competitiveness.

Innovative Service Available

The chapter Publications Committee has developed a new online tool useful for all our members. VendorFormat lists seminars that vendors have available to present to architects, engineers, specifiers, and others.

Listings are a nominal $50 per year for the first listing and $10 per additional listings. Each listing includes a seminar title, seminar description, and a link to additional information. Please take a minute to check it out and let us know what you think.
